Network Security Engineer L2
Location: Abu Dhabi
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer Level 2 to join our team. The Network Security Engineer is a critical role in monitoring, securing, and managing the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Infrastructure Management: Assist in maintenance of security technologies and solutions, including NXFWs, WAF, encryption systems, EDR,NDR, PAM, SIEM and SOAR systems.
- Incident Response & Investigation: Respond to and assist in investigating security incidents. Work on containment, analysis, and remediation. Provide incident reports and recommend security improvements..
- Documentation: Document security incidents, changes to security configurations, and incidents to maintain clear records for management review.
- Security Architecture: Work with other engineers to design secure infrastructures and ensure that security controls are properly integrated into business operations
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Network, application, NOC, and SOC) to ensure security measures align with business objectives
Skills and knowledge:
- Network Security Technologies: Familiarity of managing security devices ( Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortinet,F5) and technologies
- Advance Security Technologies: Knowledge of managing security technologies like PAM, EDR, NDR, SIEM and SOAR
- Knowledge of incident response processes, including containment, analysis, and documentation of security incidents.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, security architectures, and network security tools.
Certifications
- Security Vendor Certifications (PA, Cisco, Checkpoint, F5, Thales)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or other ethical hacking certifications.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
