Responsibilities:
- Oversee deployment and management of WAF, DDoS protection, and firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, F5)
- Drive integration and virtualization of identity systems (ClearPass, Cisco ISE on VMs)
- Enhance VPN and IPsec strategies across hybrid environments
- Lead automation initiatives including Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) and workflow enhancements
- Implement and maintain ZTNA frameworks and SASE solutions (Netskope, Palo Alto)
- Standardize operational procedures aligned with ITIL best practices
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with standards (e.g., PCI-DSS)
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and enforce security best practices
- Lead cost optimization, budget planning, and tool consolidation strategies
- Oversee WAN optimization using platforms like SilverPeak and Riverbed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 810 years of relevant experience, including 24+ years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on experience with network virtualization and cloud-integrated security
- Proven background in automation using Ansible or similar platforms
- Solid understanding of ZTNA, SASE, and modern security architectures
- Demonstrated success in budget optimization and P&L exercises
- Certifications: CCNP, NSE 67, F5 Advanced, ITIL Foundation
- Strong documentation, process improvement, and vendor negotiation skills
