Network and NW Security Engineer L2

We are seeking an experienced Network & NW Security Engineer L2 with 7+ years of experience in network and security operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise network and security infrastructure, while handling escalations and ensuring system stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network and security devices (routers, switches, firewalls).

Handle escalated issues from L1 support and collaborate with L3 engineers.

Monitor network performance and ensure high availability.

Perform network optimization and implement improvements.

Conduct security assessments and remediation activities.

Implement and support network security policies and procedures.

Work with monitoring tools such as PRTG and SolarWinds.

Prepare and maintain HLD and LLD documentation.

Collaborate with teams to ensure secure and efficient operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum 7+ years of experience in network and security.

NSE4 and CCNA certifications are required.

Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco technologies.

Experience with firewalls, proxies, WAN optimization, and load balancing.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
