BlackStone eIT, a leading computer software company, is looking for a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and install network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
- Plan and execute network upgrades and capacity expansion projects
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including System Administrators and Security Engineers, to ensure seamless network operations
- Create and maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures
- Research and evaluate new networking technologies and solutions to improve network performance and security
- Provide network-related support and assistance to end-users and clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network engineering
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and security protocols
- Experience with network management and monitoring tools
- Hands-on experience with configuring and troubleshooting network equipment
- Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are preferred
