Network Engineer

Location: Egypt (Cairo).

As a Network Engineer will join the Network & Communications Services Team, reporting to the Product Manager of the area. This role is responsible for designing, engineering, implementing, and operating secure, scalable network connectivity across cloud (Microsoft Azure), multi-cloud (Azure, AWS, Google), hybrid, on-premises (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Perimeter firewalling, SASE), and remote access environments

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIE

S: Deploy and operate secure network connectivity across Azure, multi-cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and remote access environment

s. Deploy and support Azure networking services including VNets, vWAN, Azure Firewall, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, ExpressRoute, and VPN Gateway

s. Implement and maintain resilient hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, SD-WAN, inter-cloud peering

). Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot on-premises LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routing, switching, Wi-Fi, load balancing, network segmentation, perimeter firewalls, and SD-WAN environment

s. Integrate Azure cloud networking with on-premises and data center environment

s. Troubleshoot complex network issues and lead technical escalations with managed service providers and cloud vendor

s. Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and optimize cloud and on-prem network service

s. Collaborate with Network Architecture and Cyber Security teams to ensure compliance with security, governance, and enterprise standard

s. Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Pytho

n. Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational runbook

s. Involvement in medium-to-complex network integrations projects, requiring communication and entry-level project management skill

s. Provide support for internal teams and coordinate activities with external vendors during medium and complex level troubleshooting case

TS Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent hands-on experien

ce. 4+ years proven experience as a Network / Cloud Network Engineer with strong focus on Azure networki

ng. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certificatio

ns. Industry certifications from Cisco, Fortinet and Zscaler are considered as an advanta

ge. Deep knowledge of Azure networking services including VNets, vWAN, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, NSGs, WAF, and hybrid connectivity mode

ls. Experience working in hybrid and multi-cloud environments; familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform is an advanta

ge. Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies (routing, switching, WAN, Wi-Fi, load balancing, segmentation, SD-WA

N). Strong understanding of network and application security principles, including Zero Trust, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure remote acce

ss. Working knowledge of network automation and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and/or Pyth

on. Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments and collaborating with DevOps mod

el. Strong troubleshooting skills in complex, distributed environmen
