Job Description:

  • Analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure and application components.
  • Responsible to manage end to end systems engineering cycle from requirement till acceptance. Ensure that technical delivery of the project by leading technical activities in line with the scope and plan agreed with the Project Manager.
  • Participate in validation of sub-systems design and specifications; define the work plan for systems/network engineering and development, work with the Project Team to develop Systems Architecture (High Level Design HLD / Low Level Design LLD ) and requirements flow down to the sub-systems.
  • Oversee the installed systems of IT, Networking, Software, Hardware and software applications; perform systems integration and testing, configuration of routing and switching equipment and firewalls.
  • Liaising with project management team and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
  • Undertake routine preventative measures and implement, maintain and monitor network security of client network.
  • Troubleshooting and analysis of technical issues and verify the system test results until demonstration of the compliance of the solution with the requirements.
  • Maximize network performance by monitoring performance.
  • Troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades on network optimization.
  • Planning, supervision, monitoring and control of technical support activities with capability to analyze complex issues and coordinate and resolve any problem that arises.
  • Handle equipment warranties during maintenance.
  • Suggest and implement recommendations for improving the performance of the systems installed or maintained including effectiveness and efficiency of the technical support activities.
  • Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information while managing projects.
  • Perform data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
  • Design, deploy configure and support LAN/WAN, SDN, campus networks and data centers
  • Organizing and setting up proof-of- concepts for customer acceptance; participate in conducting studies/tests of various Network systems and technologies, and communicate the test results internally.
  • Identify and recommend emerging trends in the ICT technology industry.
  • Develop and maintain an effective information library for systems installed for its configuration management, version updates, critical updates, technical risk assessment and recommendations, manage transitions of systems, etc.
  • Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
  • Manage Enterprise wireless network , and Cisco collaboration technologies.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of work of subcontractors and IT technicians to achieve performance excellence.
  • Conduct periodic audit to check implementation of various departmental IT policies.
  • Maintain adherence to appropriate design and installations standards and HSE.

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communication / Electrical / Computer or IT Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • CCNA, MCSA and Cisco is a plus point
