Network Engineer

We are currently hiring an experienced IP Network Engineer to join a leading telecom environment in Saudi Arabia, supporting core and transmission networks at a 2nd line support level.

This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting capabilities across IP, MPLS, and transmission networks in a high availability environment.

• Minimum 7 years experience in IP networking

• Strong background in routing and switching technologies

• Solid experience in 2nd line support or TAC environments

• Strong knowledge of MPLS, OSPF, BGP, QoS, VRRP, and BFD

• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and transmission issues

• Hands on experience with Cisco or Ericsson IP networks

• Experience with HP switching platforms and network devices

• Strong understanding of static and dynamic routing protocols

• Experience in MPLS environments and coordination with third parties

• Exposure to transmission technologies such as MW, SDH, DWDM is a plus

• Experience supporting telecom environments is highly preferred

• Knowledge of cloud, virtualization, and scripting is an advantage

• End to end 2nd level troubleshooting across routers, switches, and transmission nodes

• Support and coordination with multiple teams for network issue resolution

• Network configuration, upgrades, and maintenance activities

• Performance monitoring, reporting, and network optimization

• Working in a 24 by 5 shift environment with on call support when required

• Work on large scale telecom and IP infrastructure

• Exposure to multi vendor environments including Ericsson and Cisco
