Job Description: NOC Engineer
Experience: 2+ Years
Location: Qatar
Preferred: Bilingual (Arabic Speaker)
Role Summary
Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG
- Handle incidents, alerts, and outages within SLA
- Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPN)
- Log and track tickets in ServiceNow/Remedy
- Escalate issues as per process
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI Model, subnetting
- Basic routing & switching (BGP, OSPF)
- Familiarity with Cisco/Juniper devices
- Knowledge of monitoring & ticketing tools
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field
- CCNA or equivalent (preferred)
