The Network Operations Center Engineer is responsible to monitor all Syntys data center infrastructure systems 24/7. Detect, log, and respond to alarms and incidents. Escalate issues per defined procedures. Ensure continuous visibility of site health and availability.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Monitor BMS, EPMS, DCIM, CCTV, and access control systems continuously
  • Respond to all alarms within defined SLAs - acknowledge, assess, and action
  • Log all incidents accurately in ServiceNow with correct classification and priority
  • Escalate incidents per escalation matrix - Site Engineers, Site Leads, or Management
  • Perform hourly system health checks and document status
  • Monitor environmental parameters - temperature, humidity, power across all sites
  • Track open incidents and follow up on resolution progress
  • Communicate with site teams and customers as directed during incidents
  • Generate daily NOC reports - incidents, alarms, system status
  • Conduct shift handover with comprehensive briefing to incoming team
  • Maintain NOC logs and documentation
  • Support remote hands requests as coordinated by Site teams

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Bachelor's in IT, Engineering, or related field
  • 1-3 years experience in NOC, monitoring, or technical support role
  • Understanding of data center infrastructure - power, cooling, BMS basics
  • Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
