JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:
To manage the day to day operations of the IT systems to ensure proper implementation of robust and scalable systems that meet SIMAH's business requirements as per the set IT policies, procedures

Key Responsibilities
Strategic
- Contributes to the development of SIMAH's Network Operations strategic and leadership.
Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Develops and oversees the implementation of department's policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of IT activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers
Day- to-day operations
- Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
Members Integration
- Manages & Participates in the assessment of members IT infrastructure and applications so as to identify the actions that need to be taken in order to enable their accurate integration to SIMAHs systems and platforms
- Manages & Handles the accurate and on time execution of all activities necessary for the integration of members, in order to enable the upload of data and use of product channels
IT Network Development
- Manage the analysis of the business growth, the current IT infrastructure status and the IT development plans, so as to identify the requirements of the network infrastructure and provide recommendations to build and maintain a scalable and agile IT infrastructure
- Manage the design of all related IT infrastructure aspects (hardware, network, server, storage, telephony, and database management) in order to facilitate the efficiency of operations
- Manages & Analyses business plans and IT requirements in order to project the requirements in IT capacity and proceeds to all the required activities in order to secure the availability of storage for all SIMAH's operations
- Manages & Keeps abreast of market trends and technical / technological improvements so as to identify and propose solutions that will add value and support the accurate operation of the network
IT Network Management
- Manages & Controls the efficiency of communications and networking applying all the require measures to ensure business continuity
- Manages & Monitor the network performance regularly and set up alerts to detect problems as early as possible.
- Manages & Perform network traffic analysis and ensures smooth operation of network infrastructure and elements
- Manages & Resolve network incidents and problems as per Operational Level Agreements (OLA)
- Manages & Participate in network installation, configuration and upgrade while maintaining minimal downtime in scheduled maintenance windows and ensures proper communication with Service Management team of the maintenance requirements and effects on the network availability and performance
- Manages & Responsible for the network infrastructure administration, configuration, support, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Ensure compliance to network security standards and latest network policies
Disaster Recovery Plans
- Manages & Develops, seeks approval and maintains disaster recovery plans that are aligned with business requirements and approved IT architecture policies and standards.
Continuous Improvement
- Manages & Support in Overseeing the overall Network Operations activities within SIMAH and continuing the progress within the department.
- Manages & Assess periodically the employee relation processes and ensure the complete processes.
Reporting
- Ensures that all reports required from SIMAH management are prepared timely and accurately and meet company and function's requirements, policies and standards
Safety, Quality & Environment
- Ensures the compliance of the function to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies and procedures in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude

- Performs other related duties or assignments as directed
Information Security/Cyber Security / BCM/Privacy
- Implementation of and compliance with the cybersecurity/privacy/ Business Continuity requirements as per SIMAH's policies and procedures.
- Ensure that standards, processes and procedures of your department reflect Security/privacy/ Business Continuity requirements (if applicable).
- Ensure that individuals within your department accept and comply with the Cyber Security/Privacy/ Business Continuity policy, supporting standards and procedures when they are issued and updated.
- Coordinate with Risk Department to identify and report cyber security and privacy risks and vulnerabilities, availability and continuity risks in IT systems
- Immediately report cyber security and privacy incidents to Risk Department (Information Security unit).
- Coordinate with Risk Department to effectively and efficiency implement agreed on security, privacy and availability controls
- Coordinate with Risk Department to review cyber security, privacy and Continuity controls of third-party service providers for your department
- Ensure continuity of critical activities and systems that is related to your department.
- Ensure that all subordinate employees are communicated and aware about the Information and Cyber Security Policies/Privacy Policy/ Business Continuity policy distributed based on Need to Know and/or Need to do basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT engineering or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
6-8 years of relevant experience in IT network management preferably within a financial environment
Language:
Technical Knowledge areas:
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems, IT Networks and applications
- Very good knowledge of the SIMAH's operations and requirements
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong working knowledge on firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers and proxy.
- In depth understanding of infrastructure components and building highly available computing environment.
