Job Summary:
The Network Performance & Reporting Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing network performance across the entire network. This role ensures SLA compliance, KPI/KQI monitoring, and continuous improvement of network services while providing accurate reporting and proactive issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on network performance and utilization 24/7.
- Maintain and improve SLA and KQI/KPI metrics.
- Open and track tickets for all network performance issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for network elements and customer services.
- Generate improvement reports with actionable recommendations to enhance network performance.
- Report performance anomalies and analyze recurring failures for escalation.
- Ensure availability and accuracy of performance data, including after network changes.
- Generate performance reports following major upgrades or network activities.
- Proactively identify client issues and coordinate with client service teams for corrective action.
Skills & Expertise:
- Strong understanding of network performance monitoring and reporting.
- 57 years experience
- Experience with Ribbon solutions is preferred; however, experience with Ericsson, Oracle, Nokia, Cisco, or Huawei is also acceptable
- Experience with SBC, Softswitch, Media Gateway and SRE
- Familiarity with SLA/KPI/KQI management.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Experience with telecom network elements and performance tools.
- Arabic language skills: intermediate level
This is a contract for 12 months, with potential extension for another 2 years
