Role Overview
We're looking for a Network Performance & Analytics Engineer with a strong foundation in mobile network performance, RF optimisation, and benchmarking. You will play a pivotal role in analysing network data from multiple sources to derive actionable insights and deliver customer projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to mobile network performance testing and benchmarking projects across 4G/5G networks
- Design and execute drive test campaigns and benchmarking data to ensure representative and high-quality insights
- Analyse RAN and end-to-end network KPIs to identify performance issues, optimisation opportunities, and service experience gaps
- Deliver clear, data-driven insights and reports to clients and stakeholders
- Ensure technical robustness and consistency in data collection, processing, and interpretation across all performance projects
- Support project scoping, planning, and delivery, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations are met
- Collaborate with internal teams (data, product, AI/ML) to define new metrics, features, or platform capabilities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, measurement methodologies, and evolving standards (e.g. 3GPP, ITU)
- Represent the company in client workshops, presentations, or technical deep-dives, where required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in RF optimisation, E2E performance, or benchmarking (vendor, operator, or consultancy side)
- Strong knowledge of LTE/5G KPIs, drive test tools, and network measurement principles
- Experience with tools like Atoll, TEMS, Actix, Nemo, SwissQual, and crowdsourced platforms
- Familiarity with OSS KPIs, SQL, and data manipulation (Excel, Python, or similar)
- Solid communication skills—ability to convert technical data into business-relevant insights
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Jupyter)
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their application in telecom performance
- Exposure to vendor systems (e.g. Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia) and multi-vendor environments
- Understanding of geospatial data, GIS tools, or map-based analysis
