QA Engineer – Network Testing

Experience: 3+ Years

Role: QA Engineer – Manual / Network Testing

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
• Good understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration, Sanity, and System Testing.
• Strong knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP networking models.
• Hands-on knowledge of:
• Routers & Switches
• VLAN / VLAN Segmentation
• L2 Switching
• L3 Routing
• IPv4 & IPv6
• TCP/IP
• Network Traffic Analysis / Behavior Validation
• Experience with Test Cases, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Execution.
• Experience with Jira, Zoho, or similar defect-tracking tools.
• Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Good to Have

• Basic Python scripting for test automation or network validation.
• Exposure to Selenium or other automation frameworks.
• Experience with firewall rule validation and security policy testing.
• Knowledge of NAT, DHCP, DNS, ACLs, VPN, or other networking concepts.
• Exposure to Wireshark, TCPDump, Ping, Traceroute, or similar network troubleshooting tools.
• Willingness to upskill in network automation and Python-based testing.
