JOB OBJECTIVE
As a Network/Security Engineer at Blnk, your core objective is to maintain and secure the company's production environment. You will oversee deployment processes, manage infrastructure operations, and ensure robust network and system security. This role involves continuous monitoring, optimization, and integration activities to support scalable and reliable system performance, while also maintaining compliance and operational best practices.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and deploy software releases from development to production, ensuring stability and security across all environments.
- Administer and maintain the overall production environment including private cloud infrastructure, network security, system backups, and general operations.
- Implement, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor infrastructure to ensure high availability,reliability, and performance with proper logging and auditing mechanisms.
- Coordinate integration with third-party systems based on evolving business needs.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing; resolve any security issues identified.
- Create and maintain documentation covering infrastructure architecture and operational procedures.
- Support production and testing environments; participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to resolve system issues quickly and efficiently.
- Continuously evaluate and improve infrastructure efficiency, automation, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee hardware installations in data centers, ensuring proper setup, compliance with operational standards, and coordination with third-party vendors and service providers.
QUALIFICATIONS,EXPERIENCE, SKiLLs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in Linux system administration.
- Solid understanding of database technologies such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and criticality.
- Working experience with Django and Python is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and disciplines.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to infrastructure and security challenges.
- Experience coordinating with data center teams and third-party service providers is a plus.
