Description
We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our team as part of our Emiratisation initiative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our network infrastructure from security threats and ensuring compliance with security policies.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage network security solutions to protect the organization's infrastructure.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network security best practices are followed.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-10 years of experience in network security or related field.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, etc.).
- Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response procedures.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or similar are preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
