We're currently hiring an Azure Network and Security Engineer to support one of our key clients onsite in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for an experienced cloud network engineer with a strong focus on Azure security, compliance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, Firewalls, and ExpressRoute.
- Implement and maintain Azure security services like Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Key Vault.
- Monitor traffic, investigate threats, and resolve performance or security issues in hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with Cloud and DevOps teams to embed network security into IaC (Terraform, Bicep).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support compliance with ISO27001, NIST, and CIS.
- Provide L3 support and maintain documentation, runbooks, and network diagrams.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with 3+ years focused on Azure cloud security.
- Expertise in Azure Networking (VNet Peering, NSG, Load Balancers, VPN, ExpressRoute).
- Hands-on with Azure security tools: Firewall, Defender, Sentinel, WAF, Conditional Access.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, routing, switching, and hybrid cloud troubleshooting.
- Familiar with IAM, Azure AD, and security compliance standards.
- (Preferred) Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) and Microsoft certifications (AZ-700, AZ-500, SC-200).
- Willingness to relocate and work onsite in Abu Dhabi.
