Summary:
QuadraTech is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Security Eng. to design, implement, monitor, and maintain secure network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting the organization's systems and data from cyber threats while ensuring optimal network performance and compliance with security standards.
Job Description:
- Design and implement secure network architectures (LAN, WAN, VPN, cloud networks)
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system integrations
- Maintain documentation of network configurations and security controls
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Provide technical support during security incidents and forensic investigations
- Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend security improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 37 years of experience in network security or cybersecurity roles
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing & switching
- Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.)
- Experience with IDS/IPS systems and SIEM tools
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of encryption protocols (SSL/TLS, IPsec)
- Experience performing vulnerability assessments and remediation
- Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, CIS Controls)
