We're looking to hire a Network Security Specialist to be based in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain security tools (firewalls, XDR, email security systems)
- Monitor and analyze network performance; implement optimizations to improve speed, reliability, and uptime.
- Conduct & coordinating vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for troubleshooting complex network and voice-related issues.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, architectural diagrams, changes, and processes.
- Participate in the development, testing, and execution of disaster recovery plans.
- Conducting cybersecurity awareness training and safe practices
- Manage SSL/TLS certificate issuance & Renewal
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure infrastructure and applications
- Manage and support VoIP systems including SIP configurations, call routing, and voice quality monitoring.
- Manage and enforce privileged access controls to safeguard critical systems and sensitive data
- Monitor cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and security protocols
- Experience with Azure Virtual Networks (VNets) and hybrid cloud integrations.
- Expertise in security technologies, including network & web application firewalls, endpoint protection and email security solutions
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix or similar platforms
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, HP, Huawei switching and VoIP technologies including Cisco Call Manager, Avaya
- Understanding of encryption, authentication, and access control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during incidents
