Purpose of the job
To manage and maintain Microsoft SQL databases.
Duties and responsibilities
Ensure the highest level of Databases availability, Data integrity, Security, Best practices, and Performance.
Monitor and Maintain Microsoft SQL databases.
Perform data recovery in case of any failure.
Follow up with the vendor support to solve or improve any technical issue.
Maintain database Security, upgrades, patching and migrations.
Manage DB permissions and troubleshoot backup issues.
Job specification
Education
Bachelors degree in engineering or computer science from a recognized university.
Experience

Experience in Microsoft SQL Database administration with advanced setup, design, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Experience in SQL database administration, database maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience in SQL Database Performance and tuning.
Must have good experience on Microsoft Failover clustering and SQL Server always on.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Very Good knowledge in Linux/Windows operating systems.
