Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity using SolarWinds, Riverbed, and other NOC tools.
- Identify, analyze, and respond to network events, alerts, and anomalies.
- Perform initial troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for network incidents.
- Escalate issues to relevant teams based on severity and impact.
- Generate daily/weekly/monthly performance and incident reports.
- Maintain documentation, dashboards, and monitoring configurations.
- Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to monitoring and alerting systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in network monitoring using SolarWinds Orion Platform (NPM, NTA, NCM, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Riverbed performance monitoring/packet analysis tools (such as Riverbed SteelCentral).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, WAN/LAN, and general network protocols.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment (if required).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
