Node.js (must have worked with Global stakeholders)

We are looking for a builder-minded Web Developer / Automation Engineer with 5-7 years of hands-on experience developing web-based tools, scripts, and automation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning business needs into practical technical solutions, from marketer-facing scripts and internal portals to event infrastructure and lightweight tooling that increases team efficiency and scale.

Key Responsibilities -

• Prototype, test, and ship marketer-facing scripts using JavaScript/Node, API integrations, and automation workflow
• Build, maintain, and improve the Content Operations Portal and the automation that powers it
• Set up and support technical infrastructure for Garage events end-to-end
• Create scripts, utilities, and lightweight tools that help a small team operate efficiently and scale impact

Required Qualification

• 5-7 years of hands-on web development experience in a real-world production environment
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.j
• Comfortable working with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integration
• Experience scripting in Bash, Python, or JavaScript to automate workflows or solve operational problem
• Proficiency with Git and confidence using command-line tools in day-to-day development
• A builder mindset with strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and a bias for action

Technical Skills -

Core Technologies & Development (Must Have)

• HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Node.js for scripting, tooling, and lightweight application development
• REST APIs, JSON, and system integrations
• Automation and scripting using Bash, Python, or JavaScript

Tools & Workflow

• Git-based version control workflows
• Command-line and terminal-based development
• Package management tools such as npm or yarn
• VS Code or similar development environments

Nice to Have

• Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or lightweight portals
• Familiarity with marketing workflows or content operations environments
• Exposure to event tech setup, integrations, or operational tooling
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving requirements
