We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Engineer to join our dynamic healthcare technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining resilient backend systems that support our innovative healthcare applications. RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
- Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture to facilitate communication between front-end systems and databases.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Ensure code quality and efficiency by performing code reviews and writing unit tests.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in backend development within healthcare.
REQUIREMENTS- Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with version control tools, preferably Git.
- Understanding of healthcare standards and regulations, such as HIPAA.
- Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
