Non-motor claims assessor

Qualifications:

-University degree with 1–3 years of experience.

-Solid understanding of insurance operations, products, and reinsurance.

-Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer service mindset when dealing with both internal teams and external partners.

-Critical thinker, highly motivated, able to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.

-Capable of effective reporting and working collaboratively within a team.

Accountabilities:

-Receive and register claims, create physical files, and verify coverage by comparing policy terms with claim details. Evaluate loss size, calculate settlement amounts, and ensure fairness in claim assessments.

-Appoint surveyors, prepare related reports, set appropriate reserves, and follow claims procedures as per the manual. Finalize claims by ensuring all required documents and data are collected.

-Manage correspondence and negotiations with clients, reinsurers (facultative), and legal entities as needed. Handle salvage, recovery, and follow up on legal cases when required.

-Assist in preparing statistics, monthly KPIs, and closing bordereaux. Ensure adherence to technical and procedural standards throughout the claims process.
