Job Description
Program Overview
The Non-Trade Procurement Graduate Program is a 6-month development opportunity designed for fresh graduates who are interested in Procurement, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Commercial Operations.
The Graduate will gain practical exposure to the procurement of non-trade goods and services, including MRO supplies, office supplies, IT equipment, facility services, tools, consumables, and other business-related requirements.
Throughout the program, the Graduate will work closely with the Procurement team and internal stakeholders to develop practical knowledge of sourcing, supplier coordination, quotation analysis, purchase orders, cost comparison, procurement processes, and reporting.
Upon successful completion of the program, potential employment with Mansour Automotive may be considered based on individual performance, demonstrated capabilities, business requirements, and available opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Non-Trade Procurement Support
- Support the Procurement team in handling day-to-day non-trade procurement activities.
- Assist in sourcing suppliers for MRO, office supplies, IT equipment, facility services, tools, consumables, and other non-trade requirements.
- Support the collection and comparison of supplier quotations.
- Assist in preparing and following up on RFQs, RFPs, and other sourcing documents.
- Support the evaluation of supplier offers based on price, quality, delivery, and commercial terms.
- Follow up on purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and deliveries.
Supplier Coordination
- Communicate with suppliers regarding quotations, orders, delivery schedules, and required documentation.
- Support maintaining an updated supplier database.
- Assist in monitoring supplier performance related to quality, delivery, pricing, and service.
- Follow up on outstanding supplier requirements and escalate issues when necessary.
- Support the Procurement team in maintaining effective supplier relationships.
Cost & Commercial Support
- Assist in comparing supplier prices and commercial offers.
- Support basic cost analysis and market price comparisons.
- Assist in identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Support tracking procurement spend and savings.
- Develop an understanding of procurement budgets and cost-control practices.
Procurement Process Support
- Support compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approval processes.
- Assist with purchase order and procurement documentation.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and trackers.
- Support process improvement initiatives within the Non-Trade Procurement function.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Finance, IT, Facilities, Operations, HR, and other business functions to understand and follow up on procurement requirements.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate supplier, quotation, purchase order, and delivery records.
- Update procurement trackers and databases.
- Support the preparation of procurement reports and presentations.
- Assist with basic spend analysis and supplier performance reporting.
- Use Excel and other reporting tools to organize and analyze procurement data.
Learning & Development
- Participate in on-the-job training and procurement-related learning activities.
- Gain exposure to different non-trade procurement categories.
- Develop an understanding of sourcing, supplier management, purchasing, and procurement processes.
- Participate in assigned procurement projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Receive regular coaching and feedback from the Procurement team.
Qualifications
- Fresh graduate or recently graduated.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
- Good command of English and Arabic.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced business environment.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain concepts.
- Basic knowledge of SAP, ERP, or procurement systems is an advantage.
