Job Summary
One of our client is seeking a skilled Norwegian Language Expert to contribute to a variety of language and content projects. In this role, you will utilize your linguistic expertise to ensure high-quality Norwegian communication across different materials and platforms. The ideal candidate has strong writing and editing abilities, deep knowledge of Norwegian language usage, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, review, and edit Norwegian-language content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Maintain high linguistic standards across all written and verbal communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to localize and adapt content for Norwegian-speaking audiences.
- Conduct linguistic quality checks and provide feedback to improve content consistency.
- Provide expert guidance on Norwegian language usage, grammar, and regional nuances.
- Assist in developing language resources, style guides, and documentation for Norwegian content.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify project requirements and deliver quality results.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Norwegian with strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to linguistic accuracy and detail.
- Background in linguistics, language studies, translation, or a related field.
- Experience in content localization, translation, or language quality assurance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining clear communication.
