About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to acquire, manage, and grow relationships with NRI and HNI clients, with a strong emphasis on Mutual Fund advisory and AUM growth.
This is a client-facing role, focused on building long-term relationships, delivering suitable Mutual Fund solutions, and driving consistent AUM and revenue growth within approved product frameworks. The role requires a solid understanding of Mutual Funds, global markets, and UAE regulatory requirements, particularly for NRI clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire, manage, and grow a portfolio of NRI and HNI clients, with a primary focus on Mutual Fund investments.
- Conduct detailed client profiling and risk assessment to recommend suitable Mutual Fund solutions aligned with client goals.
- Advise clients on equity, debt, hybrid, and thematic Mutual Funds, including SIPs, lump-sum investments, and portfolio rebalancing.
- Drive AUM and revenue growth through effective Mutual Fund advisory, cross-selling, and client engagement.
- Provide regular portfolio reviews, performance updates, and market insights to NRI clients.
- Stay updated on market trends, Mutual Fund performance, fund manager strategies, and product launchesrelevant to NRI investors.
- Ensure strict adherence to UAE SCA regulations, FATCA/CRS requirements, and internal compliance standards.
- Work closely with internal investment, product, operations, and compliance teams to ensure seamless onboarding and servicing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the NRI community across key corridors (India, GCC, UK, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience
- 35 years of experience in Mutual Fund advisory, wealth management, private banking, or NRI banking.
- Proven experience in handling NRI clients and managing Mutual Fund portfolios.
- Demonstrated ability to grow AUM and generate revenuethrough Mutual Fund solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, or MBA are an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of Mutual Fund products, asset allocation, and portfolio diversification.
- Good understanding of UAE regulatory requirements, FATCA/CRS, and NRI investment structures.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a client-first advisory mindset.
