Job Description

GSG Academy is looking for an organised, proactive, and service-oriented Nurse Assistant to join our team in Egypt.

The Nurse Assistant will support the end-to-end coordination and delivery of GSG Academy courses, including speaker arrangements, participant registration, course preparation, on-site operations, and post-course administration.

Key Responsibilities

Speaker Coordination

  • Communicate with speakers before travel to confirm flights, airport transfers, accommodation, course schedules, and any specific requirements.
  • Maintain communication with speakers and provide the necessary support throughout their stay.
  • Support speakers with technical, practical, and logistical requirements before and during their sessions.

Course Preparation & Registration

  • Prepare the Academy, classroom, equipment, and course materials.
  • Coordinate materials and equipment that need to be purchased, ordered, transported, or prepared locally.
  • Follow up on course registrations and support efforts to achieve the targeted course capacity.
  • Assist participants with registration and ensure they are registered through the GSG Academy App.
  • Prepare attendance lists and manage participant check-in on course days.

Course-Day Operations

  • Welcome participants and speakers and provide all required information and materials.
  • Act as the main point of contact during the course for participants, speakers, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate room setup, equipment, materials, catering, coffee breaks, and refreshments.
  • Ensure courses run according to schedule and promptly report any issues to the Academy Manager.
  • Ensure all equipment, materials, consumables, and practical training requirements are prepared and available for practical courses.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and professional appearance of the Academy throughout each course.

Post-Course Administration

  • Reset and organise the Academy after each course day and ensure equipment and materials are properly stored.
  • Check and report any missing, damaged, or insufficient equipment or materials.
  • Keep the Academy Manager updated on registrations, speakers, course preparation, materials, and operational issues.
  • Coordinate the distribution of course certificates by email as required.
  • Prepare and submit the course expense report after each course.
  • Provide brief post-course feedback covering organisation, participants, speakers, venue, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the Academy team with additional administrative and operational activities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, or a related healthcare/medical field.

0–3 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with strong organisational and communication skills are encouraged to apply.

  • Background or good understanding of medical/veterinary terminology, clinical environments, and equipment.
  • Strong organisational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, service-oriented attitude.
  • Good command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate registration, attendance, course, and expense records.
  • Proactive and able to handle operational issues and work effectively under pressure during courses.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours according to course and Academy schedules.
  • Previous experience in training coordination, medical/veterinary education, events, hospitals, clinics, veterinary practices, or healthcare companies is an advantage.
  • Currently based in Egypt.
