Nursery English Teacher (New Cairo)
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery English Teacher to join our early years team. The teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports children's development through play-based and child-centered learning approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate English learning activities aligned with the nursery's curriculum.
- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support children's language development, social skills, emotional growth, and independence.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress regularly.
- Maintain accurate classroom records and portfolios.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and team members.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's development when required.
- Ensure classroom hygiene, safety, and daily routines are followed at all times.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
- Follow nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and code of conduct.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience teaching in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong command of the English language (spoken and written).
- Understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning.
- Patient, caring, energetic, and child-focused personality.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
