Company Description Pixie Wings – Nursery & DayCare is a new inclusive early learning nursery that follows the EYFS British Curriculum, offering a wide range of engaging indoor and outdoor activities. Located in El Sheikh Zayed, ElYasmin Compound. The nursery is dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for children aged 1–4 years, within a nurturing and supportive environment where every child can thrive. Beyond weekday morning nursery hours, the venue will also host school holiday camps, evening therapy sessions, and hobby classes such as music and ballet.
Role Description The Nursery Homeroom English Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based at Pixie Wings in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid. The teacher will lead an English-focused homeroom for children aged 1–5 years, delivering developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the EYFS British Curriculum. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging activities, supporting early language and literacy development, maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment, and monitoring each child's progress. The teacher will communicate regularly with families, collaborate with colleagues and support staff, contribute to school events and camps, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in English Teaching and Education, with the ability to support early years language and literacy development.
- Demonstrated Teaching and Lesson Planning skills, including creating age-appropriate, activity-based learning experiences.
- Effective Communication skills for working with children, families, and colleagues in a collaborative nursery environment.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, English, or a related field.
- Experience teaching or supporting children in the 1–4 years age range, preferably within the EYFS or similar early years framework.
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom, with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Strong classroom management, observation, and documentation skills to track and report on children's progress.
- Willingness to participate in camps, extracurricular activities, and evening programs as needed.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration with the nursery team.
