Company Description Pixie Wings – Nursery & DayCare is a new inclusive early learning nursery that follows the EYFS British Curriculum, offering a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. The nursery provides high-quality care and education for children aged 1–5 years, focusing on a supportive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Located in El Sheikh Zayed, ElYasmin Compound
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nursery Homeroom Teacher or CoTeacher role based in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the EYFS British Curriculum, creating engaging learning experiences through play-based and structured activities, both indoors and outdoors. Daily responsibilities include supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development; observing and documenting progress; and maintaining a safe, clean, and inclusive classroom environment. The role involves communicating regularly with families, collaborating with colleagues and specialists, participating in nursery events and camps, and contributing to enrichment activities such as hobbies and themed programs. The teacher will also engage in ongoing professional development and adhere to the nursery's safeguarding, health, and safety policies.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in early childhood education, with knowledge of the EYFS British Curriculum and child development principles.
  • Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum implementation to design structured, play-based learning experiences.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and empathetic manner.
  • Demonstrated teaching and classroom management skills, with the ability to create nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environments.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or supporting team members or assistants in educational settings.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; recognized teaching qualifications are an advantage.
  • Previous experience working in nurseries or early years settings with children aged 1–4 years is highly beneficial.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practices, with the ability to respond calmly and responsibly to children's needs.
  • Adaptability, reliability, and a collaborative mindset to support the nursery's growth, special programs, and extended activities.
