Role Description The Nursing Quality Lead Officer for Homecare is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality of nursing services delivered to patients at home. This full-time, on-site role based in Al Ain includes developing, implementing, and monitoring nursing quality policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines. Daily tasks involve conducting audits and quality reviews, analyzing clinical and operational data, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with international standards and accreditation requirements. The role also includes mentoring and coaching nursing staff, organizing training sessions, and promoting a culture of patient safety and continuous quality improvement. The Nursing Quality Lead Officer collaborates closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that care plans are evidence-based, consistent, and focused on positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications

  • BSc in Nursing from an accredited institution; valid professional nursing license.
  • Demonstrated experience in home health care or community nursing, preferably in a leadership or quality-focused role.
  • Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Auditing, with the ability to design and implement audit tools and monitoring processes.
  • Strong Quality Management skills, including developing policies, clinical pathways, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills for interpreting quality indicators, clinical data, and incident reports to drive evidence-based improvements.
  • Effective Communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback, conduct training, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
  • Knowledge of international homecare standards and accreditation requirements (e.g., Jawda & Tasneef or similar frameworks).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple quality projects concurrently.
  • Competence in basic computer applications and electronic health record systems used in homecare settings.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of care and documentation.
