SWATX is looking for dedicated resource responsible for providing advanced technical expertise, support, and guidance for the operations and optimization of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI).
Implementation and Deployment Support
- Assist in the design and deployment of Nutanix clusters, including configuration of networking, storage, and compute resources
- Oversee the integration of Nutanix HCI with existing IT infrastructure and third-party solutions
- Ensure the implementation aligns with industry best practices and the Geidea requirements
- Current Architecture Re-Assessment
- Apply Micro segmentation
Operational Management
- Monitor the Nutanix environment for performance, availability, and security
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patch management, and hardware replacements
- Manage and optimize the Nutanix Prism Central for unified management of the infrastructure
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery (DR) and backup strategies using Nutanix tools and services
- Daily Health checks and reports any findings and optimizes chances
- Automate the Provisioning and Configuration Deployment using Nutanix Calm by calling Current Ansible Playbooks and terraform Scripts!
- VA, PT Remediation as per our SLA and Security patch Deployment as per SLA
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex issues related to Nutanix HCI, including storage, networking, and compute
- Work closely with Nutanix support and our team to resolve incidents promptly
- Analyze root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term solutions to prevent future occurrences
- Support Critical issues during off working Hours
Optimization and Performance Tuning
- Regularly assess the Nutanix environment to identify areas for performance improvement
- Optimize resource allocation and usage to ensure efficient operation of workloads
- Assist in capacity planning and scaling of the infrastructure based on our needs
- Provide recommendations for infrastructure upgrades and enhancements
Knowledge Transfer and Training
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for our IT staff on Nutanix technologies, tools, and best practices
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
- Mentor and guide our staff in managing and operating the Nutanix environment
Reporting and Documentation
- Provide regular reports on the status, performance, and health of the Nutanix infrastructure
- Document all changes, incidents, and resolutions in a structured and accessible manner
- Maintain detailed records of configurations, topologies, and other critical information
