Job Description

Role Objectives:

The OD & Talent Management Senior Manager will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Breadfast's Organization Development and Talent Management agenda, ensuring the organization has the right structures, capabilities, performance practices, and talent strategies to support business growth.

The role will connect business strategy with people strategy, translating organizational needs into scalable talent solutions across Performance Management, learning & Development, and Organization design.

The role will also ensure strong integration between talent processes, career growth, succession, organizational effectiveness, and employee experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Talent Management Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and execute the annual OD & Talent Management roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Establish governance, standards, and frameworks for talent management across Breadfast.
  • Ensure consistency and scalability of talent practices across BUs and functions.
  • Partner closely with P&C Business Partners and business leaders to identify organizational and talent priorities.
  • Provide talent insights and recommendations to leadership based on organizational data and trends.

2. Performance Management

  • Own the overall Performance Management framework and lifecycle, including check-ins, reviews, calibration, and development planning.
  • Continuously improve the performance management system and employee/manager experience.
  • Ensure effective linkage between performance, KPIs/OKRs, rewards, talent reviews, and development.
  • Partner with Total Rewards on the performance-related elements of bonus and reward programs.
  • Provide insights on performance trends and organizational gaps.
  • Build manager capability around effective performance conversations, feedback, and performance improvement.

3. Talent Reviews & Succession Planning

  • Lead the design and implementation of annual and semi-annual talent reviews.
  • Establish talent identification and segmentation frameworks, including critical talent and high-potential populations.
  • Develop and maintain succession planning for critical roles.
  • Identify talent risks, capability gaps, and key-person dependencies.
  • Partner with business leaders to create targeted development and retention plans for critical talent.
  • Track talent movement, readiness, and development progress.

4. Learning & Development

  • Set the strategic direction for the Learning & Development agenda.
  • Ensure learning priorities are driven by business needs, competency gaps, performance insights, and future capability requirements.
  • Oversee leadership development, functional/technical capability building, career development, onboarding-related capability programs, and talent development initiatives.
  • Establish career development frameworks and clear growth pathways across relevant populations.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to develop critical capabilities required for future growth.
  • Measure learning effectiveness and business impact rather than focusing only on training activity.

5. Organization Development

  • Lead OD initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, structure, accountability, and ways of working.
  • Partner with leadership on organization structure design, role clarity, spans & layers, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Govern the company structure and ensure alignment between organizational design, roles, and business requirements.
  • Lead or oversee organization-wide OD projects, including restructuring and transformation initiatives.
  • Support the development and governance of job profiles, role architecture, and organizational frameworks.
  • Use organizational data and insights to identify opportunities for improving effectiveness and productivity.

6. Competency & Career Frameworks

  • Own and continuously evolve Breadfast's competency framework and its application across talent processes.
  • Ensure competencies are integrated into performance, development, career progression, and talent reviews.
  • Build clear career pathways and progression frameworks for key populations.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify critical technical, functional, and leadership capabilities.

7. Talent Analytics & Insights

  • Establish meaningful Talent & OD dashboards and KPIs to measure effectiveness.
  • Analyze performance, talent, succession, capability, retention, and organizational trends.
  • Translate people data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Track the effectiveness and ROI of major talent and OD initiatives.
  • Provide regular talent insights to the Head of Talent & People Experience and senior leadership.

8. Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the OD & Talent Management team.
  • Set clear objectives, priorities, and performance expectations for the team.
  • Ensure effective collaboration between team members and other P&C COEs and PBPs.
  • Build internal expertise and scalable processes rather than relying solely on external solutions.

9. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a strategic OD & Talent partner to senior leaders, P&C leadership, and P&C Business Partners.
  • Work closely with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and Employee Experience to ensure integrated people practices.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption of talent programs across the organization.
  • Communicate complex talent concepts in a simple, practical, and business-oriented manner.

Required Education, Knowledge, And Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 8–12+ years of relevant experience in HR, Talent Management, OD, Performance Management, or related areas, depending on level.
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing talent management frameworks in a complex or fast-growing organization.
  • Proven experience leading Performance Management and Talent Review processes.
  • Strong Organization Development and organizational design experience.
  • Experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and business leadership.
  • Strong understanding of talent analytics and HR systems.
  • Experience in a high-growth, FMCG, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, or similarly complex environment is preferred.
