We are looking for an experienced Odoo Technical Developer to join our team and lead the customization, integration, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of our Odoo environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges through clean, scalable technical solutions while ensuring system stability, performance, and longterm reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop custom Odoo modules using Python, XML, and JavaScript.
- Customize existing Odoo apps (Sales & Accounting) to match business workflows.
- Extend Odoo models, views, and business logic while maintaining upgradesafe practices.
- Build and maintain API integrations with thirdparty systems.
- Customize QWeb reports and website templates.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues, bugs, and unexpected behavior across Odoo modules.
- Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
- Support deployment activities, including updates, migrations, and environment troubleshooting.
- Maintain documentation and follow versioncontrol best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of handson Odoo development experience.
- Strong Python skills and solid understanding of the Odoo ORM.
- Experience with XML, QWeb, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Odoo Studio, automated actions, and server actions.
- Understanding of Odoo deployment environments (Linux, Git, Odoo.sh or onpremise).
- Ability to work with functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Strong debugging skills and a structured approach to troubleshooting.
HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, or Odoo.sh pipelines.
- Knowledge of accounting or supply chain workflows.
- Contributions to Odoo community modules.
- Experience with performance tuning and database optimization.
