Odoo Functional Consultant POS Implementation

Short-Term Assignment | Immediate Start | 5 Working Days | Remote Possible

We are currently looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to support an urgent POS implementation project.

The consultant will be responsible for configuring, validating and delivering an Odoo-based Point of Sale solution, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure all functional requirements are correctly implemented and tested.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure Odoo POS for multiple store locations and POS terminals
• Set up 50–80 products, categories, SKUs, variants and pricing
• Configure Inventory Management, stock locations, stock receipts, adjustments and automatic stock deduction
• Configure VAT/tax rules, payment methods, receipts and transaction numbering
• Set up user roles and access rights for cashiers, supervisors, inventory controllers and administrators
• Configure cash opening/closing procedures and end-of-day reconciliation
• Configure standard Odoo sales, inventory, cash and VAT reports
• Support accounting data mapping and validation for downstream ERP integration
• Prepare and execute functional test scenarios and UAT
• Resolve configuration-related issues
• Deliver end-user training, documentation and go-live support

Required Experience

• Proven hands-on Odoo POS implementation experience
• Strong knowledge of Odoo Inventory
• Experience with retail/POS business processes
• Good understanding of cash management, VAT/tax configuration and reporting
• Experience with user/security configuration and role-based access
• Exposure to accounting processes and ERP integrations is preferred
• Ability to work independently and deliver within a tight timeline
