The role supports the delivery of DP World GCC Regional Organisational Excellence objectives by driving business process efficiency, benchmarking, and excellence reporting. The role combines hands-on execution with a strategic outlook, ensuring that process re-engineering, best-practices management, and excellence reporting activities deliver measurable outcomes and promote continuous improvement across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Re-Engineering
- Lead process improvement and reengineering projects to enhance efficiency, reduce redundancies, and improve customer experience.
- Engage with Business Units and Shared Functions to identify process gaps, evaluate opportunities, provide improvement proposals and monitor the implementation of agreed action plans.
- Support the development and refinement of frameworks, tools, and templates for process evaluation and improvement tracking.
- Contribute to successful execution of annual Project Excellence Awards program in collaboration with relevant teams to manage the program, assessments and recognition ceremony.
- Contribute to introducing smart and digital solutions that streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain performance dashboards, data insights, and management reports to monitor process efficiency KPIs.
- Prepare and deliver reports to Key Stakeholders and Management on Business Process Efficiency projects and initiatives at relevant stages.
Benchmarking and Best Practices Management
- Coordinate inbound and outbound benchmarking activities, serving as the point of contact with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth benchmarking journey.
- Collaborate with Business Units and Shared Functions to identify benchmarking opportunities, plan visits, and facilitate implementation of identified best practices.
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to benchmarking activities, outcomes, and follow-up actions.
- Support continuous improvement of benchmarking policies, templates, and practices to strengthen best practices management and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Support the organization in active engagement in external/internal forums, platforms and opportunities to position DP World GCC as a leader in excellence and best practices management
- Ensure all benchmarking initiatives comply with approved policies, frameworks, and governance requirements.
Excellence Reporting
- Lead the preparation and release of periodic Excellence Reports by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating key performance and improvement data.
- Facilitate the release and presentation of Excellence Reports and Organisational Excellence Communication to relevant stakeholders, including post presentation documentation and action items follow-up.
- Contribute to streamlining and digitizing reporting processes for improved accuracy, consistency, and timely decision-making.
Awareness & Knowledge Sharing
- Support initiatives and campaigns to promote awareness of Organisational Excellence initiatives across the organization.
- Facilitate sharing of best practices and lessons learned through reports, communication materials, and internal engagement activities.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong stakeholder engagement, planning and coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication (English; Arabic is an advantage).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret and present performance data.
- Knowledge of business process efficiency, benchmarking, and reporting practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, Public Policy or Communications
- Desirable Qualification: MBA or Masters in Strategy, Quality Management, Public Policy or Communication. Certifications in Quality, Excellence and Project Management from reputed organizations.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience in managing business process re-engineering, benchmarking visits management, stakeholder liaison, best practices management
