Job Description
Provide business support service for smooth business continuity in a cost effective manner and with the specified policies, procedures and process with the aim and objective to achieve highest possible standards.
Strategic
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure formal and measurable service level matrix, performance targets for business units with compliance to service level agreements (SLAs).
- To ensure cost optimization in the task assigned with maximize cost saving and avoid complicated situations/legal complications.
- To ensure highest level of customer satisfaction by ensuring consistency, team work, engagement and feed back.
- To ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within team members and external sources to facilitate other business operations.
Operational
- Close work with business units, legal, operations and relevant authorities to fulfill the requirements.
- Liaison with Water and Electricity authority, CNIA, GHQ, Telecommunication companies, Department of Economic Development, Chamber of Commerce, etc.,.
- Process new & renewal of security passes for persons & vehicles for both CNIA & GHQ.
- Follow up vehicle registrations renewal and obtain NOC from concerned authorities.
- Manage company license renewals and obtain NOC from concerned authorities.
- Coordinate employees related cases with police dept and other government authorities.
- Liaise with legal department and deals with legal cases and follow-up the progress.
- Manage all responsibilities pertaining to rent committee (Tariff committee).
- Coordinate labor accommodations tenancy contract and MOL accommodation system update; Obtain NOC from concerned authorities.
- Office management in line with the Workplace policies and code of conduct.
- Supports to clear all issues related with new land acquisition by organization.
- Registration of companies with government (Tendering Purposes).
- Follow-up on building permits and other permits.
- Requires participation in seminars and government activities.
- Ensure the business is in line with government regulations.
- All other tasks assigned by the management.
People Management
Product/Process Improvement
- Ensure support service process compliance and value add in business performance.
- Streamline existing Support Services processes by identifying uses of systems & applications to improve value added business performance & output.
- Contribute in developing in department processes and standards in areas of responsibility and customer service.
- Contribute in cost saving initiatives, risk assessment methodology with evaluating current practices / flow processes to conclude quick wins.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal and external role players on development plans.
- Device ways of tracking improvements in the business from business support services perspective.
- Implementing new Technical systems and technological solutions which can help improve the efficiency of the business, in coordination with Business Partner.
- Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
- PREFFERED :
- MINIMUM : Diploma or Degree in a related discipline.
Knowledge & Skill
- Result oriented, self motivated and positive attitude.
- Strong social skills and a presence, enabling to interact with officials effectively.
- Effective Communication Skills; Proficient in Arabic and English.
- Computer knowledge; Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
Experience
- PREFERRED :
- MINIMUM : Minimum of 5 - 7 Years experience in relevant position.
