JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY:
The Officer – Repair Capability Development provides essential technical and administrative support to the Manager – Repair Capability Development and the wider team. This role plays a key part in the documentation, coordination, and execution of activities related to the planning, qualification, and integration of new or enhanced repair capabilities within Sanad's MRO operations.
Working under close supervision, the Officer assists in compiling technical data, preparing capability requests, tracking project milestones, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role helps facilitate smooth project execution and supports cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, and Procurement teams. This entry-level technical role is foundational to building expertise in repair process development within a regulated aerospace environment.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Technical and Documentation Support
- Assist in drafting and formatting technical work instructions (TWIs), routing sheets, and capability request forms.
- Support the collation of technical justifications and data for repair qualification submissions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of repair development activities and documentation.
2. Project Coordination
- Track progress of ongoing repair capability projects and update trackers or dashboards as directed.
- Schedule meetings, prepare minutes, and coordinate follow-up actions for repair development reviews.
- Support tooling, materials, and logistics coordination in preparation for repair trials or validations.
3. Compliance and Quality Support
- Organize and maintain compliance-related documents in alignment with regulatory standards (GCAA, EASA, FAA).
- Assist in audit preparation by compiling required documentation and evidence.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect and consolidate performance data from capability trials or production feedback.
- Prepare basic reports or presentations summarizing project status and outcomes for management review.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Contribute ideas for improving workflows or data management practices within the team.
- Participate in team initiatives aimed at enhancing documentation, turnaround time, or process clarity.
9. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
Minimum Qualifications:

Licensure/Professional Membership)
- Completion of a vocational or technical course or diploma in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline would be an advantage.
Minimum Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a technical or engineering support role, preferably within an MRO, aerospace, or manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to documentation, engineering coordination, or project tracking is a plus.
