Role Summary
Officer - Information Technology is responsible for the IT support activities according to procedures. The role holder is also responsible for ensuring the IT business unit documentation and updates on unit hardware.
ROLE PROFILE
- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Talk staff through a series of actions, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a faults or set up a system.
- Support the roll-out of new applications.
- Set up new users accounts and profiles and resolve password issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills.
- Excellent listening abilities.
- Adapt in a multicultural environment.
- High attention to detail.
