Role Summary

The Officer, IT Identity & Access Management is responsible for managing user identities, roles, and permissions across hospital systems to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access. The role supports daily access fulfilment, governance, audits, and continuous improvement of IAM processes within the Fujairah Hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Access fulfilment — Provision, modify, and revoke user access to applications, systems, and network resources.
• Incident & request handling — Resolve access‑related tickets within defined SLAs and track them through closure.
• Role‑based access control — Support design, implementation, and maintenance of RBAC models.
• Access reviews — Perform periodic reviews, clean‑ups, and removal of obsolete or departed‑user accounts.
• Audit & compliance — Support internal/external audits and respond to IAM‑related queries.
• Process improvement — Identify risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities in IAM processes.
• Stakeholder coordination — Work with Business Units, Service Desk, and IT teams to ensure accurate and compliant access provisioning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of modern IAM concepts and best practices.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and SailPoint.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and IT systems administration.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and risk awareness.
• Excellent communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.

Certifications (Preferred)

• ITIL
• CompTIA Security+ or similar IT security certification
• Microsoft Technologies Certification
• Microsoft Identity & Access Administrator Associate
