Prepare the invitation letter, and send them to invited bidders.
Prepare report on contract variations/ contract renewal to obtain the approval as per
Prepare and update monthly tenders and contracts reports.
Attend the opening of tender at the Tender & Contracts committee and ensure the proper Submission of tender and bid bond.
Participate in tender development of response to clarifications & tender submittal
Evaluate and study the financial offers, negotiate them with the vendors to get the best prices and prepare the tender evaluation report to obtain the approval as per RTA authority delegation.
Draft the contract liaising with contract specialist and get it signed by both parties.
Ensure /review the payments form of contracts submitted by concern departments as per the Contract payment mode and get C&P director approval on the form.
Ensure all approvals are obtained (RFP checklist, name of invited Companies, the RFP, budget Approval)
Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate
Prepare letter of award to the winning bidder.
Ensure the compliance with the RTA's Policies and procedures that include but not limited to Procurement, Contracts, Tendering and quality Standards
