Officer Regulatory Reporting

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Prepare all weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual BRF/ IRF regulatory reports and Ad-hoc data submission requests for central bank related to the risk management department.
• Prepare the RBS survey on a quarterly basis and consolidate the responses from various units across the bank for onward submission.
• Prepare the annual RCSA assessment of Financial & Market risk unit and provide the periodic KRI assessment to Operational risk unit.
• Design and prepare new risk reports, Analyse trends, risk analytics reports and provide information to management to facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Responsible for all aspects of risk reporting including design, development, implementation, measurement, and maintenance of all types of risk reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis or as and when required.
• Ensure timely regulatory report preparation and its timely distribution to the target audience.
• Support AVP – Risk Analytics for the development and automation of MIS requirements and other unit functions.
• Reconciliation of reports with Finance team and GL to ensure accuracy of reports.
• Take on ad hoc Risk Management activities deputed by senior management as and whenever.

Education and Qualifications:

• Graduate/post-graduate degree holder from a reputable institution preferably in Finance, Economics, Commerce or Mathematics.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in regulatory and MIS reporting in banking or financial institutions.
• Experience in preparing and delivering central bank BRF and IRF reports.
• Experience in preparing central bank risk-based supervision survey.
• Knowledge of CBUAE regulations on BRF, IRF reporting and Basel requirements.
• Working experience on data extraction, reconciliation, transformation, loading and automation.

Other Skills Required for the Job:

• Strong understanding of CBUAE BRF guidelines.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Functional with database development, maintenance, and extraction of data for reporting;
• Ability to understand and communicate clearly and effectively at all levels;
• A strong computer and technical background is vital to all MIS Officers with expertise on MS-Excel and statistical softwares such as Python / R (desirable).
• Accuracy, attention to detail and having the ability to work on his own initiative are important.
