Job Description

Job Activities:

  • Must have Offshore Transportation and Installation Experience (onshore / offshore based)
  • With particular reference (but not limited to) to shallow water activities (S-Lay / Jacket / Deck / Cables / Structures installation), the resource shall be experienced & able to:
  • Prepare complete engineering Installation package (installation procedures / rigging drawing / check list dossier / trial lift & load out procedures etc.)
  • Follow up all the Interfaces with Installation analysis team (naval engineers / structural engineers / pipelay analysis engineers) including input & deeply review of analysis / design report.
  • Follow up operation phase (including temporary items material procurement, vessel mobilization, subcontractors contract(s) etc.)
  • Follow up onshore & offshore operation to technical assist (project side) vessel management team during mobilization / testing & installation phase.
  • Follow up and manage team of junior engineers (method / ops engineering) + draftsman for preparation of Installation documents.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical/Civil (preferable) or other Engineering degree
  • 10+ years experience in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Minimum 5-10 years in Installation engineering (including operation follow up / offshore & yard experiences)
  • Office package (including Microsoft Project) + good knowledge of main offshore T&I codes (DNV/API etc.)
  • Track record of EPCI projects execution for Middle East clients (Saudi Aramco, QP, QG, ADNOC)
