Primary Purpose Of The Job
To assist in an efficient and timely response, clean-up and recovery operations of all hydrocarbon & HNS spills within the State of Qatar, at sea and to be part of the State of Qatar Oil & HNS Spill Response Team in response operations as per international, regional and national legislative requirements.
Required Experience And Skills
- 6-year experience in Oil pollution combating organisations, oil / gas industry (offshore/marine background).
- Has good working knowledge of relevant Oil spill response techniques and strategies.
- Must be qualified in lifting and slinging techniques.
- Must have a valid forklift operating license.
Educational Qualifications
- Educated to Secondary Education and hold relevant school certificates (Grade 12), supplemented by 1 year training seamanship, safety practices, report writing and English language.
- Must have completed Oil spill related courses.
