Oncology / Chemotherapy Pharmacist
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
A leading healthcare organization in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Oncology / Chemotherapy Pharmacist to join its Oncology Services team.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify chemotherapy prescriptions for accuracy, dosing, and protocol compliance.
- Prepare and compound chemotherapy medications in accordance with established oncology protocols and hazardous drug handling standards.
- Ensure the safe dispensing of oncology medications while maintaining compliance with medication safety regulations.
- Identify and resolve medication-related issues, including drug interactions and dosing concerns.
- Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support quality improvement and accreditation initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Valid SCFHS registration and professional classification.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Oncology Pharmacy or Chemotherapy Preparation (Mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and safe handling of hazardous medications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia are preferred.
- Immediate availability or short notice is an advantage.
