Role Description The Opening For Senior AI Engineer is a contract, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Senior AI Engineer will design, develop, and optimize AI models and systems, with a focus on pattern recognition, neural networks, and natural language processing. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and prototyping new algorithms, implementing production-grade software solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI components into existing platforms. The role involves performance tuning, data preparation and evaluation, documentation of technical approaches, and mentoring junior engineers. The Senior AI Engineer will also ensure that AI solutions adhere to security, reliability, and ethical guidelines while meeting business objectives.

Qualifications

Qualifications and experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics,Engineering or a related field.

6+ years in software, data or ML engineering, including at least 2 years building anddeploying LLM-based applications.

Proven track record of shipping AI solutions to production in an enterpriseenvironment, not only proofs of concept.

Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft AI stack (Azure AI Foundry / AzureOpenAI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform).

Demonstrated project management experience: has led AI or digital projects end toend, on time and within budget.

Hands-on experience managing and challenging technology vendors and systemintegrators, from RFP and evaluation through delivery.

Experience in regulated industries (financial services, pensions, insurance,government) is a strong plus.

Certifications are a plus: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, PMP,PRINCE2 or Agile.

Technical skills

Depth on the Microsoft stack matters more than breadth across frameworks.
