We are seeking an experienced OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) Consultant / Developer (6 Months Contract) to support the design, implementation, customization, and administration of OpenText Extended ECM solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver enterprise content management solutions, integrate xECM with business applications, and provide end-to-end project support from requirements gathering through deployment.
Contract Duration: 6 Months Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, administer, and maintain OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) environments.
- Implement and customize OpenText xECM solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Design and manage Business Workspaces, metadata structures, security models, workflows, and document management processes.
- Integrate xECM with enterprise applications using REST APIs and Web Services.
- Configure and manage OpenText Directory Services (OTDS).
- Develop customizations and enhancements using Java and/or .NET technologies.
- Conduct customer workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Prepare solution architecture and technical design documentation.
- Support solution configuration, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to end users and project teams.
- Collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, governance standards, and security requirements.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM).
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with OpenText Extended ECM (xECM).
- Proven track record of successfully implementing OpenText xECM solutions in enterprise environments.
- Experience working on full project lifecycles, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
