Job Description
- Lead all finance pre-opening activities, including financial set-up, procurement governance, OS&E management, systems implementation, budgeting, controls, reporting, licensing support, banking relationships, and overall financial readiness ahead of opening
- Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to support commercial decision-making and business growth
- Work closely with JV partners, consultants, contractors, banks, auditors, local authorities, and external partners to support the pre-opening programme and build strong working relationships from the outset
- Drive the hotel's financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and performance management
- Oversee financial reporting, cash flow management, audits, statutory compliance, and tax requirements
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices
- Manage capital expenditure reviews, procurement controls, and investment analysis
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing Finance team
- Build productive relationships with corporate teams, auditors, banks, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders
