Operation Manager Experience in shipping industry from 10-15 Years

Job Objective:

To oversee all maritime operations, shipping agencies, and port warehousing services, ensuring efficient workflow in accordance with international standards, thereby achieving customer satisfaction and enhancing the company's competitiveness.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Managing daily operations related to shipping agencies and vessel services in ports.

Coordinating with government agencies and maritime authorities to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Supervising warehousing and storage operations within the port and ensuring the safety of goods.

Developing operational plans and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Monitoring vessel movements, loading and unloading operations, and scheduling work to ensure smooth operations.

Managing relationships with clients (shipping companies, shipping lines, importers, and exporters).

Monitoring financial and operational performance and preparing periodic reports for senior management.

Leading the team and developing their skills to ensure the achievement of operational goals.

Applying safety and quality standards in all operational activities.

Contributing to the development of expansion strategies and the improvement of logistics services.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

University degree in Business Administration, Maritime Transport, or a related field.

Minimum 7 years of experience in shipping agencies or management. Ports

Comprehensive knowledge of maritime laws and customs regulations

Strong leadership skills and the ability to make strategic decisions

Proficiency in using port management systems and logistics software

Fluency in English (written and spoken) in addition to Arabic
