Role Focus
As a commercial astute management consultant, you will drive sustainable improvement in operating cost efficiency and contra-revenue expense control by identifying inefficiencies, leakage, and value erosion across end-to-end processes, pricing, billing, and delivery models.
The role will balance cost discipline, revenue protection, and commercial pragmatism, ensuring efficiency gains do not compromise growth, client outcomes, or regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Cost efficiency & operating model optimization
- Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities across people, process, technology, and sourcing
- Analyze Total Cost of Operation by product, client, and process
- Support operating model simplification, standardization, and automation
- Track, validate, and report cost savings
Contra-revenue & margin protection
- Identify drivers of contra-revenue expense including:
- Pricing overrides and discounts
- Rebates, incentives, and revenue share agreements
- Billing errors, refunds, claims leakage, penalties
- Quantify margin leakage and validate benefits
- Design and embed controls to prevent recurrence
Development of in-house Proprietary Tools
- Partner with in-house Technology team to develop tool(s) using AI capabilities to be leveraged during client engagements
End-to-end process & root cause analysis
- Map revenue and cost flows from contract / product design execution billing settlement
- Perform root cause analysis across process, system, data, and behavioral drivers
- Prioritize initiatives based on value, risk, and feasibility
Data, insight & performance management
- Develop KPIs and dashboards covering cost, contra-revenue, and operational performance
- Perform data reconciliation and exception analysis
- Use insight to drive targeted interventions and decision-making
Stakeholder engagement & change delivery
- Partner with teams like Finance, Product, Operations and Technology
- Challenge inefficiencies and leakage constructively
- Support implementation, adoption, and benefits realization

You Are An Ideal Candidate If You Have
- Experience in cost optimization, operational efficiency, revenue assurance, margin optimization or contra revenue optimization
- Financial services experience (banking, payments, insurance, asset management)
- Strong analytical, data reconciliation and forensic skills
- Understanding of pricing, billing, and commercial drivers for different types of costs and products
- Ability to quantify financial impact credibly
- Proven stakeholder engagement
- Automation, RPA, or workflow optimization experience (Desirable)
- Risk, controls, or audit awareness (Desirable)
- Use of AI Tools (Desirable)
- Commercially astute and outcomes-focused
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity
